I bought a IBM T23 (brand new) at $950

It is produced in Mexico Jan 2003(so I have warranty until 2006/3), the basic specs are as follows:

1.13G
256M
XP Pro
Office XP
Wireless
DVD
+ Leather bag ($100)
+ Dock ($180)
+ Lock ($38)

I paid $950 in total

It is brand new(not used before), the seller mailed it to me first, then I checked it, then mail the money to him.

It is not suprising, from Ebay you can get such deal frequently.
